About

Toneri Park spreads on both sides of the Nippori-Toneri Liner, with the station right inside it. The park has a large lake, wide lawns, sports grounds, a barbecue area, a summer splash zone for children and a bird sanctuary. It is known for its Senbonzakura (thousand cherry trees) in spring, and colourful flower beds, including blue nemophila in recent years, draw visitors in April and May. Entry is free.
