Take the lift in the central tower of Adachi City Hall to the top-floor observation room and walk around the windows. To the south Tokyo Skytree stands out above the flat east Tokyo townscape, while the west side looks toward the Shinjuku skyline and, in clear winter weather, Mount Fuji. Late afternoon offers Skytree in warm light and a Fuji sunset on lucky days. It is a public building: respect the opening hours, keep quiet, and press the lens to the glass to cut reflections.
