This little bakery in Daita, between Shimokitazawa and Setagaya-Daita, makes cream puffs in the shape of Totoro, with hand-piped eyes, whiskers and a leaf on his head. Fillings include classic custard, chocolate and rotating seasonal flavours such as strawberry, matcha, peach or chestnut. The shop is a cute, storybook building with a separately run café upstairs where you can eat your puffs with coffee. Each Totoro is made by hand in limited numbers, so popular flavours sell out, and they're so fragile that it's best to eat them the same day.
