About

Shiokaze ("sea breeze") Park stretches along the western shore of Odaiba between the Museum of Maritime Science area and Odaiba Seaside Park. It hosted beach volleyball at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and has since returned to what locals use it for: picnics, kite flying, barbecues and long walks along the seawall. There is no sand beach to swim from, but the waterside promenade gives an uninterrupted view across the inner harbour to Shibaura and the Rainbow Bridge, and is one of the calmest places in Odaiba to watch the sun drop behind the city. A small replica of the Statue of Liberty and the Odaiba beach are a 10 minute walk north, so it pairs easily with the main seaside park.
