About

Odaiba Seaside Park wraps around a sheltered cove on the artificial island of Odaiba, with an 800 m sandy beach, wooden boardwalks and the island park of Daiba Park, the remains of the Edo-era battery forts that give Odaiba its name. Swimming is normally prohibited (except at special summer events in a designated area), but strolling, paddling at the shore, beach volleyball and picnics are all welcome. As evening falls the beach is the classic place to watch Rainbow Bridge light up with the central Tokyo skyline behind and yakatabune boats glowing on the bay. The Statue of Liberty replica and the Fuji TV building are just above the boardwalk.
