About

Run by the Nihonbashi area's promotion body, this information center on B1 of COREDO Muromachi 1 connects straight to the Mitsukoshi-side gates of Mitsukoshimae Station. Concierges in kimono welcome visitors, and the multilingual service covers Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Italian and Tagalog, with sign language in Japanese and English. Beyond maps and dining recommendations, it sells crafts and foods from long-established Nihonbashi shops (some trading since the Edo period), rents pocket Wi-Fi, arranges guides, and runs cultural experience tours and workshops in English. It is the best starting point for exploring Nihonbashi's old merchant district, Mitsukoshi and the Nihonbashi bridge itself.
