Kakimori カキモリ
Kuramae's Instagram-famous stationery shop where you build your own notebook, choose covers, paper and rings and they bind it while you wait, plus fountain pens to try.
About
Kakimori is the shop that made Kuramae, Tokyo's craft neighbourhood, a stationery destination. Its signature service is the made-to-order notebook: pick from dozens of covers (leather, cloth, patterned paper), around 30 paper types, rings, clips and elastic, and staff assemble it in minutes. The shop also stocks fountain pens, glass pens, letter paper and inks, with desks to test everything. The brand's ink stand, where you can blend your own colour of ink, is a nearby companion visit.
