About
Johoku Chuo Park lies on a terrace above the Shakujii River and was planned as a sports park, with baseball fields, an athletics track, tennis courts and a gymnasium. Its woods hide the Kurihara archaeological site, where a Jomon and Kofun period pit dwelling has been reconstructed. The riverside path is lined with cherry trees. Free.
