Lockers are split between JR (near the Waseda Exit and inside the gate on the Seibu transfer side) and the Tozai Line (by the JR-side gate, the Seibu-side hall and Exit 5). Most units are small, with only a few suitcase lockers.

On the JR side, a bank stands near the Waseda Exit by the stairs down to the Tozai Line, and another is inside the gates on the Seibu Shinjuku transfer side, on the way down the escalator from platforms 1 and 2. Underground, the Tozai Line has a large bank of around 48 small lockers by its JR-side gate, a mixed bank in the Seibu-side hall (about 11 small, 9 medium and 3 large, IC payment) and more near the commuter-pass office and Exit 5. Exact counts change, so look on the site, but expect mainly small and medium units. If they are full, a private bank on Sakae-dori, 2 minutes from the Waseda Exit, has small to large lockers open 24 hours.

• JR East lockers roll over to a new day at 2:00 am and can be used for up to 3 days; after that, bags go to the station's lost-property office
