About

Architect I.M. Pei designed the MIHO MUSEUM as a modern 'peach blossom land', approached by a silver tunnel and suspension bridge through forested hills. About 80 percent of the building is underground. The collection spans ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome, the Silk Road and Japan. Spring and autumn special exhibitions are the main seasons.
