Founded in 1756, Mandokoroen sells Shiga teas including Mandokoro-cha, a rare heirloom tea from the mountains of Higashiomi. Its attached tea room Genzaburo serves matcha soft serve, anmitsu and parfaits on the old-style shopping street below Hikone Castle.
