About
Matsuyama Castle was a contested stronghold of northern Musashi. Its baileys line up west to east on a hill above the Ichino River with large dry moats. It is part of the Hiki Castle Sites national historic site and sits right beside the Yoshimi Hyakuana cave tombs.
