About

Mitsumine Shrine has been a centre of mountain worship for centuries and venerates wolves as divine messengers. Ornate halls and a 'power spot' of sacred cedars stand in deep forest, and the summit area often sees seas of clouds on autumn mornings. It is one of the three great Chichibu shrines.
