About
Hitsujiyama Park overlooks Chichibu city and Mount Buko. Its Shibazakura no Oka has several varieties of moss phlox planted in patterns of pink, purple and white, which bloom around late April to early May and draw large crowds during the festival. Outside the season it is a quiet, free hilltop park.
