About
Toyo is a street-side standing bar under a simple awning near Kyobashi Station, where the cook sears tuna cheek and toro with a blowtorch and hands out sea urchin, salmon roe and seasonal fish at wholesale-like prices. Its founder became a star through the Netflix series Street Food: Asia, and the family has continued the business. Expect a queue before opening, standing room only and a festive mood. Hours are short and irregular.
