About
Sayamaike is an ancient irrigation reservoir dating back about 1,400 years, and the park around it is a local favourite for walking and jogging on the embankment loop. Cherry trees make it a popular hanami spot in spring. The Osaka Prefectural Sayamaike Museum, designed by Tadao Ando, stands at the north end.
