About

Abeno Harukas, completed in 2014 above Kintetsu Osaka-Abenobashi Station, held the title of Japan's tallest building until 2023. Its observatory spans floors 58 to 60: the 60th floor is a fully glazed corridor with sweeping views over the entire Osaka basin, from Osaka Castle and Umeda to Kansai Airport, Awaji Island and the Ikoma and Kongo mountains, while the 58th floor is the Sky Garden, an open atrium exposed to the air with a cafe and a wooden deck. For thrill-seekers, the Edge the Harukas tour lets you walk the outer rim of the roof in a harness at 300 m. Toilets on the 59th floor have glass windows with a view. Tickets are bought on the 16th floor.
