About
Tsuruhashi is famous for its smoky yakiniku alleys and the market lanes that lead to Osaka Koreatown. JR lockers are at the 1F Central Gate (right side as you exit) and opposite the mezzanine toilets; Kintetsu has about 45 lockers including a few large and extra-large units at the 3F JR transfer gates; and the Sennichimae Line has a bank by its East Gate. A small 24-hour cash bank sits in a building passage near subway Exit 7. Smoke from the grills clings to everything, so many locals leave coats here too.
Highlights
- Banks for JR, Kintetsu and the subway
- Large and extra-large units at Kintetsu
- Steps from the yakiniku alleys and market
- Walk to Osaka Koreatown
Tips
- Leave jackets in a locker too: yakiniku smoke soaks into clothes
- Kintetsu trains to Nara stop here, so you can drop bags on the way back from Nara
- Most lockers are cleared after 3 days and the contents go to the station lost-property office, so don't use them for multi-day storage
