About
Naramachi grew around the former grounds of Gangoji Temple and keeps narrow lanes of latticed wooden townhouses. Many now house craft shops, cafes and small museums such as the Naramachi Koshi-no-Ie lattice house, and the Harushika brewery offers sake tasting. Japan Guide has a dedicated page on it.
