Tsubakiya mainly deals in grains and flours: soybeans, toramame beans, poppy seeds, mochi flours and Domyoji flour. Soybeans and azuki are mainly top-quality domestic beans from Tanba and Hokkaido. The shopkeeper hands out recipes for cooking beans and is happy to answer questions, and okaki and karinto snacks are also sold.
