About
Gabana became a standing bar in 2016 in a space once lined with pickle barrels. It started with Sawaya Matsumoto junmai sake, beer and pickles, and now draws drinkers from all over Japan. Beef skewers are grilled over binchotan charcoal, and the drinks list includes Chivas Regal, Talisker and Miyanotsuru awamori.
