About
Shinnyo-do (Shinsho Gokuraku-ji) stands on Kaguraoka hill among quiet residential streets. Its spacious grounds, with a three-storey pagoda and main hall, are free to walk and fill with colour in autumn. The hall and modern gardens can be visited for a fee. It is far less crowded than nearby Eikando.
