About

Seimei Shrine stands on the site of the home of Abe no Seimei, the famous onmyoji (yin-yang master) of the Heian court. The pentagram crest appears on the torii, lanterns and charms. Its popularity has grown with novels, films and games about Seimei. A replica of the Ichijo Modoribashi bridge and a well of fresh spring water stand in the grounds.
