About
The Raku family began making hand-formed tea bowls for tea master Sen no Rikyu in the late 1500s, and the family still lives and works here. The museum shows pieces kept by each generation as models for the next. Exhibits of tea bowls, vases and water jars change several times a year. It is a must for anyone interested in the tea ceremony.
