About
Seabura no Kami ("God of Back Fat") opened in 2013 and gives Kyoto's classic seabura (back fat) style a modern twist by pairing it with a punchy niboshi (dried sardine) shoyu broth and noodles from Menya Teigaku. The fat adds sweetness and body, and the sardines bring savoury depth. There is a spicy version and a "seabura rice" for the brave. Open every day, close to Mibu-dera temple.
