It's a compact, steep 21,600-seat ground right by JR Kameoka Station, about 20 minutes from Kyoto Station, with the stands close to the pitch and a roof over the seats. Match days have food stalls and a lively crowd. The Hozugawa boat boarding area is a few minutes away, so you can combine a river trip in the morning with a match in the afternoon.
