About
Tenzan-no-yu is a large day-bath facility in the Saga area, a few minutes from Randen's Arisugawa Station on the way to Arashiyama. The hot spring is drawn from its own source, and the baths include indoor tubs, outdoor rock baths and a carbonated spring bath, all in a modern Japanese setting with hinoki wood. The sauna has löyly (aufguss) sessions at odd hours from 13:00. A restaurant, massage and relaxation rooms make it easy to spend an evening here. Popular with locals, it's a reliable onsen option close to Kyoto's most visited sights.
