Ohara Sanso is a minshuku-style inn that draws mildly alkaline hot-spring water from deep under the Ohara valley. Day visitors can book a lunch-and-bath set on weekends and holidays, including cypress and rock baths and a Shigaraki-ware pot bath filled with unheated source water. There is also a foot-bath cafe and a private family bath.
