About
Daiyasu was founded in 1921 by a family that sold Hiroshima oysters from a boat by the Shijo Ohashi Bridge. It serves raw oysters from regions across Japan, checked by an inspection agency, plus sashimi, Kyoto home-style dishes and tempura. The 200-year-old building has a dining room looking onto a garden, and Kyoto sake is served.
