About
Myomanji was founded in 1389 and moved to Iwakura in 1968. Its Snow Garden, one of Kyoto's 'three snow, moon and flower gardens', frames Mount Hiei, and the temple keeps the bell linked to the Dojoji legend of Anchin and Kiyohime. A large stupa, cherry trees and azaleas fill the grounds.
