Opened in 2021 on the site of a former villa, FUFU Kyoto keeps a traditional garden and Japanese buildings and adds 40 suites, each with an open-air or hinoki bath of natural hot-spring water. Kaiseki dinner is served in the restaurant. The setting is quiet, a short walk from Nanzen-ji, the Keage Incline and the Philosopher's Path; it is for guests only.
