About
The Hatano clan's base on 462 m Mt Takashiro, known as Tamba Fuji, was taken by Akechi Mitsuhide in 1579 after a long siege. Terraced baileys and stone-wall remains line the ridge to the summit monument. A national historic site near Sasayama.
