Hanshin Racecourse is one of the Japan Racing Association's main tracks in Kansai. On race days, crowds fill modern grandstands, and the course hosts big Grade 1 races including the Takarazuka Kinen in June and the Oka Sho in April, when the cherry trees around the paddock bloom.
