Kusu Gintengai runs south from the Kitahama area toward Hamawaki and has largely escaped renovation, so its roof, signs and storefronts look much as they did decades ago. Many shops are shuttered, which gives it a melancholy, cinematic feel; shoot along the arcade's length or pick out signs, tiles and old shop shutters.
