The Gundam Base Tokyo is the world centre of Gunpla (Gundam plastic models): a huge sales floor with nearly every grade in stock, Base-limited kits in special colourways, a build area with tools for rent, a museum-style display of master builders' work and a factory corner showing how kits are moulded. Limited kits are popular enough that entry is sometimes controlled by queue or advance lottery, so check the official site before visiting. The 19.7m life-size Unicorn Gundam that stood outside DiverCity from 2017 ended its exhibition on 31 August 2026; no successor had been officially confirmed at the time of writing, so don't plan a trip around the statue.
