About

Opened in 2021 by the group behind Shirokane-Takanawa's acclaimed Sushi Ryusho, Akira lets you taste fish from a top-tier supply chain by the piece, standing at a basement counter in Shinbashi. A dozen to fifteen pieces come in at around 6,000 yen, far below the parent's omakase, which has made it a sensation on Instagram and TikTok. Entry runs on a numbered-ticket system rather than reservations.
