About

Before you go through security at Terminal 3, ride up to the 4th floor and you step into Edo Koji: a stage-set version of an old Tokyo shopping lane with tiled roofs, lanterns, a wooden bridge and shopfronts styled like merchant houses. Behind them are proper restaurants: ramen, tempura, sushi and an oden-and-izakaya row called Edomae Yokocho, plus grab-and-go onigiri and bakery stands, and the Edo Market Place and Tokyo souvenir shops. It is unashamedly touristy, but the food is solid, prices are only modestly above town, and several places run late or round the clock for night departures. The open-air observation deck is one floor up on 5F, so it pairs naturally with a last look at the runways.
