About

Sennan Satoumi Park stretches about 40 ha across Hannan and Misaki towns on Osaka Bay, framing two beaches, Pichi-Pichi Beach and Tokimeki Beach (Tannowa), and a man-made rocky shore that has become a nursery for sea life. Families come for spring clam digging, summer beach days, free beach volleyball courts and barbecue areas. The western-facing coast gives clear sunsets toward Awaji Island and the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. It is one of the best "satoumi" (people-and-sea) conservation projects in the Kansai region.
