The Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium, host of the Grand Sumo March tournament (Haru Basho) for 15 days every March, plus boxing, wrestling and concerts the rest of the year.

About
Every March, sumos top wrestlers move to Osaka for the Haru Basho, and the arena in Namba becomes a festival of banners, chanko stalls and early-morning practice. Bouts run from about 8:30 with lower divisions, building to the top-division Makuuchi ring-entering ceremony around 15:45 and the final bouts until 18:00. It's within walking distance of Namba, and wrestlers can often be spotted walking to the venue in the afternoon.
