About
The roof of the Nara Prefectural Office, a short walk from Kintetsu Nara Station, is opened to the public as a free viewing plaza. From it you see the roof of Todaiji's Daibutsuden, Kofukuji's five-storey pagoda, Wakakusayama and the Ikoma hills. Take the elevator from the entrance hall. Opening can be cancelled for weather.
