About
Designed by Arata Isozaki and opened in 1995, the hall has a 1,833-seat main hall with a large pipe organ and the 510-seat Ensemble Hall Murata for recitals. A spiral ramp leads up to the main auditorium. It is beside the Kyoto Botanical Garden in the quiet Kitayama area.
