The Izushi domain's castle site rises in terraces above the soba town of Izushi. Stone walls, a rebuilt corner turret and a tunnel of 37 vermilion torii leading to Shiroyama Inari make it photogenic; the older Arikoyama mountain castle stands on the peak behind. Both are Continued 100 Fine Castles.
