About

Chiba Zoological Park covers a wide hilly site in Wakaba Ward and is organised into zones such as the Small Animals Zone, the Lion Forest and the Children's Animal Zoo. Its red pandas became famous when Futa was filmed standing upright. There is also a science museum about animal ecology and play areas for kids, all for a modest entry fee.
